Shipping Policy Update (Effective 04/10/2021)
Let me start by saying, Shipping is now and will always be included in our advertised price. We just need to adjust HOW we ship some heavier parcels.
Collect Protect is one of the only Pop Protector companies to include shipping in our prices. Others give you this super low price then sting you for shipping when you check out! We want everyone to know what they will pay as soon as they click "Add to Cart" and this is something we are super proud of.
FREE SHIPPING IS NOT GOING AWAY AND WILL ALWAYS BE AN OPTION!
Since we started we have always used Australia Post for our shipping because we have found it to be the most reliable of all the options (the best of a bad bunch you could say) Australia post offers easy tracking and follow up and our customers have always said they like that they can follow their parcel from dispatch to arrival.
Sadly in the past month Australia post has increased their shipping fees to a point we can no longer absorb these fees in our current pricing structure. These price changes are more of an issue for us for orders that exceed 5 Kilograms.
We while we considered raising our prices to cover these costs we have decided rather than do this we will leave the Shipping Option up to you.
We are therefore switching our shipping to a Weight Based Policy. This means that when you check out the TOTAL WEIGHT of your items in your order will determine the shipping options available to you.
NO MATTER WHAT THE WEIGHT EVERY ORDER WILL HAVE A FREE OPTION!
So Whats Changing?
From Today 04/10/2021 when you check out via our website you will see the following options based on your order weight.
Under 5GKS:
- Australia Post Parcel Post : FREE
- Australia Post Express Post $11.00
OVER 5KGS
- Courier (Heavy): FREE
- Australia Post Parcel Post (Heavy): $11.00
- Australia Post Express (Heavy): $22.00
NOTE: Courier (Heavy) Can not be sent to Parcel Lockers or PO Boxes if this option is chosen you will be contacted for an updated address so your order can be sent.
So as mentioned above there will ALWAYS BE A FREE OPTION, however for heavier parcels if you the customer wishes for us to send your order using Australia Post a small surcharge will be payable.
If you choose the Free Option then we will send your order using various courier services depending on your location and what services are available
